Looks like he's nipping the inevitable "whose parents do we see more" debate in the bud early on. Swoon!
It's an ugly debate, really. One that often leaves me feeling crappy and guilty. See, my husband and I moved from Los Angeles to New York City, which happens to be 45 minutes from my
family. His family, on the other hand, is all the way in Illinois. Can you venture to guess who we see more? And the thing that makes it even harder for me is that he never, ever complains. So, when we spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family this year (because it was the first without my mom), and then had our trip to his parents' cut short by three days because of a snowstorm, and he didn't make a peep, I felt awful! "My family is always around," I thought. "We really need to spend more time with his."
And isn't this always the case? We always wind up seeing one set of parents or family members more than another? And in the case of Wills and Kate, I think we know which family that would be. I mean, they live in castles!
So, classy move, taking care of business right away, Prince William. It's not a secret that I have a borderline inappropriate crush on your wife, but I think you may have just evened the playing field a bit.
Do you spend more time with one family? Do you have a crush on Prince William?
